As a Senior Systems Engineer within our Sports Medicine R&D organization, you will play a critical role in shaping next generation surgical visualization solutions, working at the intersection of engineering excellence, collaboration and purpose. **What will you be doing?** * Providing systems engineering leadership across all phases of new product development * Acting as a subsystem lead, owning requirements development, traceability and technical decision making * Defining use cases and supporting translation into downstream user stories and requirements * Contributing to system architecture including functional and physical design and interface specifications * Driving design decisions using data driven trade studies in collaboration with cross functional teams * Supporting integration planning and hands on testing to ensure system level performance * Partnering with verification leads to establish robust verification and validation strategies * Supporting pre clinical activities including human factors formative and summative evaluations * Championing best practices in systems engineering and continuous improvement **What will you need to be successful?** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering or a related technical discipline * 3+ years of experience in R&D, preferably within medical device or another regulated industry * Experience with design controls and standards such as IEC 62304, ISO 14971, IEC 60601 and FDA regulations * Familiarity with Agile development processes * Experience with requirements management and model based systems engineering tools * Strong communication, organization and collaboration skills with a passion for making an impact **This position _d
