What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM), minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience, Ability to obtain a US Government Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret Security Clearance, U. S. citizenship is required, Ability to work in a multidisciplinary teams of design professionals including Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Test, Logistics and other System Engineers, Practical experience in at least two of the following areas: Systems Engineering, Test Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Experience across the Systems Engineering V with an emphasis on integration and test, Experience in documenting failures and analyzing them to identify potential resolutions
Nice to Have
Active and transferable U. S. Government (DoD) Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain an active U. S. Government (DoD) Top Secret Clearance, Experience with voice communication systems, including VoIP (Voice over IP) protocols like SIP, RTP and SRTP, Familiarity with multicast networking (e.g. , IGMP, PIM) for efficient data transmission in communication systems, understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, UDP, and network troubleshooting tools (e. g. , Wireshark), Knowledge of military specifications (e. g. , MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461) for designing rugged and reliable systems, Experience leading discussions with customers and vendors/subcontractors, Experience writing and reviewing BOEs
