ASSYST is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst – Reporting & EDI Analytics to support our client by designing, developing and maintaining complex reports, dashboards, data extracts and analytical solutions. This role is responsible for transforming business and operational data into actionable insights while supporting Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) analysis and data validation activities. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, reporting tools, data analysis, dashboard development and healthcare-related data environments. Roles & Responsibilities: Design, develop, implement and maintain complex operational and federally mandated reports. Analyze reporting requirements and identify effective approaches for report generation, dashboard development and data extraction solutions. Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures and data extraction processes using PostgreSQL and other database platforms. Create interactive reports and dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent reporting tools. Identify opportunities to securely share and distribute data across internal and external stakeholders. Perform data analysis and interpretation to support management decision-making, policy development and operational reviews. Evaluate data quality and system functionality using database applications and analytical tools. Analyze business processes and translate reporting requirements into data-driven solutions, reports and dashboards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment to deliver reporting and analytical solutions. Perform Medicaid 8001 Flat File validation and analysis. Review Member Person Index (MPI) records for SSN matching and Master Data Management (MDM) validation. Conduct HBX system error analysis, validate 1095-A and 1095-B files and reconcile Medicaid 8001 transactions. Support development, testing and EDI operations teams by analyzing, troubleshooting, testing and transmitting EDI files on a daily basis.
