Position overview The System Engineer is responsible for end-to-end system-level quality, integrating cross-functional components, and ensuring efficient issue resolution and continuous system improvement. This role bridges triage, development, and validation, evolving from issue handling to system ownership and optimization. Role responsibilities - System-Level Ownership - Own system behavior across modules (perception, planning, control, etc.) - Understand and manage cross-component dependencies and interfaces - Advanced Triage & Root Cause Analysis - Lead complex issue investigations beyond surface-level triage - Drive root cause analysis across software, data, and system interaction
