What They're Looking For.
Must Have
BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience), 6+ years of experience designing mechanical systems for servers, datacenter hardware, or similar products, Proficiency in CAD tools (Creo preferred, SolidWorks, NX) and skills in modeling and defining engineering drawing requirements, Knowledge of thermal and structural analysis methods to guide design decisions, Knowledge of common manufacturing processes, including sheet metal, machining, plastics, and assembly methods, Experience conducting tolerance analysis, Experience working with electronic components and system integration, including boards, connectors, and cooling solutions, Hands-on approach with the ability to debug and solve problems in lab and production environments
Nice to Have
MS/PhD preferred, Experience designing AI, GPU, or high-performance computing systems and a track record of improving product quality, cost, or manufacturing efficiency, Familiarity with rack-level systems or datacenter deployment environments and experience delivering products from early development through high-volume production

In this role, you’ll work alongside a collaborative, high-performing team pushing the boundaries of hardware innovation. Based in Santa Clara, CA, you will lead the development of mechanical systems for GPU and LPU-based AI infrastructure—from early concept through production—driving improvements in chassis design, thermal performance, and system integration.
