What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of experience in relevant domain, Clear written and verbal communication, Proven experience translating finished goods (FG) forecasts into raw material (RM) requirements (BOM/production & materials planning) and executing purchasing plans accordingly, Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., PivotTables, Power Query, complex formulas), Proficiency in Microsoft Word
Nice to Have
experience working on production and materials planning, Knowledge on SQL
What You'll Do.
Manage purchasing/demand planning for assigned SBUs
Cost effective management of inventory levels
Ensure purchases align with forecasts and demand trends
Drive collaboration with commercial team on sales forecast
Analyze trends and lead time changes for planning parameters
Lead quarterly write off exercise
Participate in monthly S&OP meetings
and validate historical data for forecasts
Drive forecast collection from Sales for FG
Translate demand into RM purchasing requirements
Understand financial impact of forecasting decisions
Lead new product phase in
Minimize phase out exposures
Maintain accurate availability dates for POs
Respond to customer inquiries within SLA
Escalate supply risk and propose solutions
Ensure follow up of materials arrivals into DC
Resolve custom clearance issues
Support phase in/phase out process
Optimize ocean and air freight cost
Resolve shipping issues/documentations
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Driving collaboration with commercial team; Participate and contribute to monthly S&OP meetings with Sales, Procurement, Customer service and Product management; Work closely with various key stakeholders (commercial, PM, Global supplying plants, etc.)
