What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, business or technical field, More than 5 years of experience in Quality, Supplier Quality or Supplier Management, More than 5 years of experience managing or leading people or teams, More than 3 years of experience working in the aerospace industry, More than 3 years of experience with communication and presenting strategies at executive/VP levels
Nice to Have
Master’s degree or higher, Experience working as a Quality Engineer or Supplier Quality Engineer, More than 1 year interfacing directly with suppliers, Experience working with Boeing Supply Chain tools and processes, 3+ years of experience working with quality systems (e. g. , Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS91001)), Lean Six Sigma certification
What You'll Do.
Manages employees performing supplier quality activities to ensure that suppliers' production and quality systems
products and services meet purchase contract requirements and applicable regulatory agency and government regulations
Develops and executes business plans
policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve supplier performance
Provides education and coaching on the Quality System
Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers
suppliers and direct reports
