What They're Looking For.

Must Have

8+ year’s relevant experience in a complex, high-volume manufacturing environment with audit experience, knowledge of manufacturing techniques and process/quality controls for mechanical components, Proven understanding of data driven, statistical QC and QA problem solving methodology

What You'll Do.

managing end-to-end component quality

working closely with suppliers and internal teams to assure new product readiness and ensure performance meets key quality and reliability metrics

Qualify component vendors supplying tester components

bring up inspection and tester vendors to meet tray and rack level testing demand

Establish and lead activities within internal and external teams to ensure proper definition of quality expectations appropriate for each mechanical component

Compile and evaluate data to understand acceptable limits of manufacturing process

Drive component Failure Analysis activities

Develop continuous improvement plan with suppliers and track/reporting progress

Track supplier’s quality Key Performance Indicators closely

Prepare and present business review quality sections

manage process/product improvement changes

lead quality audits at supplier sites

Monitor supplier’s alignment to new product introduction schedules to ensure predictable and stable mass production volume ramp

Quality representative to internal teams

supporting activities for customer quality and internal quality requirements

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

closely work with Hardware Engineering, Product Engineering, and Quality Engineering groups within NVIDIA; work with our vendors and contract manufacturer partners; lead activities within internal and external teams; Quality representative to internal teams

Communication Scope

summarizing and presenting FA results; Prepare and present business review quality sections

Process & Methodology

managing end-to-end component quality, lead activities, Drive component Failure Analysis activities, Develop continuous improvement plan with suppliers, manage process/product improvement changes, lead quality audits
