What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree, 5 years of experience in Quality or Manufacturing Engineering, electro/mechanical background knowledge of plastic injection molding & tooling, metal stampings & tooling, metal fabrication, machining and various electrical components, connectors, PCB & PCBA, cable assembly, full assembly integration, Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio, and Microsoft Project, Understanding the quality system and commercial regulatory requirements
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Six Sigma training, ISO 9001 and 13485 and AS 9100

Jabil is seeking a Senior Supply Quality Engineer to work in Richardson, TX. **How will you make an impact?** As a Senior Supply Quality Engineer with Jabil, you will determine appropriate Inspection processes and directs IQC personnel, where applicable, in executing day-to-day activities. You will also lead containment and resolution of supplier quality issues with the manufacturers and communicate status on non-conforming parts/suppliers across all programs. **What will you do?** * Define, develop and implement Supply base strategies that drive improvements is supplier selection, development, and leverage across customer programs for quality improvements and cost savings. * Provide regular updates to Quality Engineering Manager on the execution of the strategy. * Provide support for NPI activities by participation in the AQP process as required * Ensure that all production critical supplier issues are resolved in a timely manner, and corrective actions are implemented. * Define and develop the appropriate Inspection Plans and Inspection Methods, directs Receiving Inspection Auditors * Define and develop the inspection processes via inspection aids and instruction guidelines. * Ensure ongoing site supplier evaluation is performed. This would be achieved by using site information collected from Receiving Inspection, MRB, Customer Returns, SCAR database and by liaison efforts with customer work cells. Performance will be reported
