Must Have
Active Secret US Government Clearance, US Citizenship, High School Diploma/GED and ten (10) years of practical experience OR degree/formal training and six (6) years' experience, Associate’s degree in engineering technology, math, or or Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or military school in electronics or or four-year electronics apprentice program, working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs, Ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to problems in operational hardware and software, Ability to travel, as required
Nice to Have
knowledgeable across multiple submarine platforms and SWFTS systems, Qualified Advanced SONAR operator
What You'll Do.
Assist in implementing Engineering Change Instructions
Train others in operation and performance of systems
and service equipment and systems
Ensure compliance with engineering documentation standards
Develop technical data for Planned Maintenance Systems
Provide on-site customer interface
Coordinate work with other engineering technicians
Evaluate components and systems consistent with engineering plans
Support systems engineering activities
