What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Degree in engineering or related field, experience with rail vehicle procurements and rebuilds, 10 years or more of experience in rail vehicle procurement and rebuild projects, Experience with zero-emission rail vehicle procurement and implementation in the U. S., Experience working with passenger railway operators and railway vehicle owners, Experience with regulatory bodies, including the FRA and FTA, knowledge of FRA compliance, regulatory, and alternative propulsion concurrence processes, Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Lead procurement and delivery of passenger rail vehicles
Manage rolling stock engineering projects
Manage technical programs for powertrain vehicle deployment
Lead stakeholder engagements for new vehicle procurements
Manage hazard and risk processes
Support funding acquisition for projects
Support teams for timely delivery
Participate in design reviews
Implement QA/QC procedures
Support client relations
Manage project lifecycle activities
Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams
Facilitate stakeholder engagement
Provide quality assurance services
and review technical specifications
