What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum 10 years of professional structural engineering experience, At least 5 years in a senior or lead design review capacity, Advanced proficiency in structural analysis and design software (STAAD. Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, or equivalent), Comprehensive knowledge of Egyptian building codes, Comprehensive knowledge of international structural design standards, Understanding of reinforced concrete structural systems, Understanding of steel structural systems, Understanding of composite structural systems, Demonstrated expertise in design quality assurance, Demonstrated expertise in technical review processes, Excellent analytical skills, Excellent problem-solving skills, Meticulous attention to detail, Proven leadership capabilities, Proven mentoring capabilities, Experience managing technical teams, Written communication skills, Verbal communication skills, Proficiency in technical documentation, Proficiency in report writing, Proficiency in presentation of complex engineering concepts, Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM), Experience with digital design tools, Knowledge of construction methodologies, Knowledge of constructability assessment
Nice to Have
Arabic language skills, Professional engineering licensure or registration, Experience coordinating with regulatory authorities in Egypt, Experience managing design approvals in Egypt
