United Infrastructure is expanding, and we’re looking for a talented Senior Structural Engineer to help shape the future of our design delivery team. If you want to work on impactful infrastructure projects, lead innovative engineering solutions, and help develop the next generation of engineers—this is the role for you. What you'll do Design Delivery * Lead the production and review of detailed 2D/3D design drawings and technical specifications for pipeline infrastructure and temporary works. * Carry out and check structural calculations and design reports in line with BS, EN and Eurocode standards. * Oversee and validate temporary works designs, including: * Pipe supports and crossings * Stopple pits, flumes, trench boxes * Ditch crossings, bog mats, sheet-piled excavations Technical Leadership & Collaboration * Act as technical lead on key projects, guiding junior engineers and CAD teams. * Coordinate with clients, contractors, third-party stakeholders and project managers to ensure seamless delivery. * Contribute to Design Risk Assessments and communicate residual risks clearly to project delivery teams. Innovation & Continuous Improvement * Promote new methods and digital tools, including BIM and point-cloud processing.
