engineering degree with a focus on structural engineering, 8+ years of structural engineering experience, Professional Engineer (P. Eng. ) licensure, technical judgment, advanced problem-solving ability, Knowledge of the appropriate building codes and standards (OBC/NBCC, CSA A23. 3, CSA S16, etc. ), project management capability, Working knowledge and ability to use programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel, structural analysis software (SAP2000, RAM, etc. ), Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Entuitive is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer, based in our Toronto office. We are passionate about our work and the talented individuals that get to deliver complex projects on a regular basis. **What will you do?** * Structural engineering design and calculations for all structural components including columns, beams, slabs, foundations, and lateral systems. * Design and engineering using materials such as structural steel, concrete, masonry, cold formed structural steel, and wood. * Assemble and coordinate engineering drawings and contract documents in collaboration with our BIM technologists and other members of the engineering team. * Conduct field reviews and other contract administrative duties. * Draft project-related correspondence.. * Lead internal project design teams, including delegating appropriate design tasks and overseeing the technical production of design engineers. * Participate in client meetings, facilitating solutions to design issues and challenges and providing status updates. * Review of architectural, electrical, mechanical, and structural drawings. * Mentoring and coaching of junior staff to help cultivate their professional development. * Develop and monitor project budgets. * Such other duties and responsibilities as Entuitive may assign to you from time to time. **Requirements** **What do you need to succeed?** * An engineering degree with a focus on structural engineering * 8+ years of structural engineering experience in the design and construction of buildings/structures.. * Professional Engineer (P.
