Senior Structural Analysis Engineer **Company:** The Boeing Company Boeing Defense Space & Security has an exciting opportunity for an innovative, self-reliant, people friendly, and highly motivated**Structural Analysis Engineer, Senior level,** to join our **Experimental Systems Group (ESG).** ESG supports a variety of government customers spanning technology domains, and is an extremely fast-paced, responsive development environment delivering new capabilities to customers rapidly and affordably. The ESG portfolio consists of a range of platforms and technologies including the X-37B, the world’s first fully autonomous reusable spaceplane. This position reports to the ESG Analysis Integration Manager and is located at **Kennedy Space Center, Florida**. **Position Responsibilities:** * Develop, integrate, and document structural requirements to establish the system design * Guide product design and verify structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle * Develop test plans and configurations, support test execution and analyze/report test results to validate and that verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications * Develop and maintain analytical processes/tools to improve effectiveness, quality, and efficiency of development and sustainment efforts * Work with multi-discipline teams to support mechanical subsystem and payload integration product definition including layouts, detail parts, and installation datasets * Support trade studies to identify and evaluate multiple potential design and build options. * On-site support for on-vehicle installation and test * Recommend engineering dispositions to hardware non-conformances and anomalies * Support proposal preparation and new business development efforts * Work with team leads to define project plans and provide regular progress updates **This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
