What They're Looking For.

Must Have

5 to 8 years of experience working on end to end stat programming activities with ADAM / TFL's & SDTM, Extensive programming experience in SAS or other required software, preferably in a clinical trial environment, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

Nice to Have

Exposure on Early Phase studies / PK PD trials is preferred, in lieu of degree, an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated programming experience

What You'll Do.

Develop custom programming code to generate summary tables

graphs and derived datasets

Ensure outputs meet quality standards and project requirements

Perform validation programming and resolve discrepancies

Maintain project documentation

and verification/quality control documents

Develop specifications for datasets and outputs

Anticipate and address potential programming issues

Act as lead statistical programmer

Direct programming activities of other personnel

Review project documentation

Provide feedback to project team members

Participate in sponsor meetings

Contribute to mentoring of programming personnel

Transfer deliverables

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Works with other Programmers, Biostatisticians, and other project team members to resolve discrepancies; Keeps project team members informed of programming progress and issues; Prepares in advance for internal meetings, contributes ideas, and demonstrates respect for opinions of others; Conducts effective internal meetings; Negotiates and establishes accurate time estimates for completion of study programming activities with internal team members; Reviews project documentation such as Statistical Analysis Plan, mock shells, programming specifications, annotated CRFs, and SAS database design; Provides feedback to the appropriate project team members; Participates in sponsor meetings, kickoff meetings, and bid defense meetings as statistical programming representative; Contributes to the mentoring of programming personnel

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

Process & Methodology

Manages scheduling and time constraints across multiple projects, Sets goals based on priorities from management, Adapts to timeline or priority changes by reorganizing daily workload, Negotiates and establishes accurate time estimates for completion of study programming activities, Completes project programming activities within timeframe allotted
