15+ years of backend engineering experience building and operating production web applications or SaaS products, Track record of building fast-growing SaaS products by leveraging PWA technologies, Track record of shipping highly intuitive products, attention to detail, programming skills in Python, experience with a modern web framework, Hands-on experience with relational databases, Solid understanding of API design, Solid understanding of authentication/authorization, Solid understanding of background job patterns, Solid understanding of robust error handling, Experience building for Cloud Infrastructure, Comfort operating services in production using logs, metrics, dashboards, and alerts, participation in an on-call rotation
