What You'll Achieve.
Keep our Kubernetes runtime across cloud providers boring, reliable, and delightfully uneventful; Ensure the path between services remains reliable, scalable, and slightly less terrifying; Enable teams to safely spawn and run their own Postgres and Elasticsearch instances without summoning an SRE every time; Empower engineers to fully own their services rather than merely stare at dashboards in despair

Must Have
Proficient in English (written and spoken), Automation mindset focused on streamlining daily operations, Manage infrastructures with git (if it doesn't exist, it's not in git), Programming skills in at least one language, Strongly favour simplicity over complexity, Team player, Prefer data to opinions when making decisions, Sense of ownership, Builder at heart, Comfortable with changes in priorities, goals, and deadlines, Comfortable challenging the status quo and pushing for change

Participate in an on-call schedule
Define and continuously improve SLIs
Help all engineering teams adopt site reliability
Improve the reliability
and operational maturity of the systems powering our products
Build tooling and infrastructure that make developers' lives easier
Improve platform capabilities
Evolve our Kubernetes and cloud environments
Strengthen observability and reliability practices
Help teams fully own and operate their services in production
Keep our Kubernetes runtime across cloud providers boring
and delightfully uneventful
Evolve our API gateway layer
and troubleshoot our data storage platforms
Keep our observability platform lean and useful
