What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of backend engineering experience with production systems at scale, JavaScript/TypeScript expertise, Node.js for backend services, Hands-on experience managing cloud environments including serverless and event driven systems built on native cloud tooling, Terraform proficiency for infrastructure-as-code, Comfort with databases (SQL, ideally Postgres), API design, async processing patterns, AI fluency: you actively use AI coding tools and are eager to push the boundaries of AI-augmented development, Bias toward you thrive in environments with ambiguity and move fast without sacrificing quality
Nice to Have
Nest.js a plus, GCP experience preferred, Interest in energy, climate tech, or marketplace products is a plus
