What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, month-end close experience, account reconciliation experience, knowledge of U. S. GAAP, knowledge of general accounting principles, Microsoft Word proficiency, Microsoft PowerPoint proficiency, experience with enterprise ERP systems
Nice to Have
Understanding of ASC 606, Understanding of long-term contract accounting, Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or regulated environments, CPA, or equivalent advanced certification, Experience in a public company or IPO-ready environment, Public accounting experience (Big 4 or national firm), Experience with account reconciliation tools, Exposure to inventory and cost accounting

Perform revenue accounting
Perform inventory accounting
Execute month-end close
Support quarter-end close
Support year-end close
Prepare journal entries
Analyze financial results
Investigate variances
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
Review balance sheet reconciliations
Support external audits
Assist with SOX compliance
Ensure adherence to policies
Maintain documentation
Support accounting for operational activities
Assist in accounting system implementation
