In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, administration, and day-to-day maintenance of technical and operational activities associated with database systems to ensure high-level environment support and availability. You will join a specialized team of professionals who report to the Database Administration Manager and serve as high-level problem-solvers for application development staff. ## ## What You’ll Do * Manage Database Operations: Oversee the design, installation, and upgrade of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) while performing performance monitoring and tuning to ensure optimal speed, efficiency, and availability. * Collaborate on Technical Solutions: Partner with application developers, systems programmers, and analysts to create database schemas, estimate capacities, and resolve complex client problems. * Ensure Data Integrity and Compliance: Lead backup and disaster recovery implementations
