5–8 years of indirect procurement and strategic sourcing experience, with ownership of supplier portfolios, Proven ability to independently lead end-to-end RFP processes for contracts valued at $250K+, 1–2+ years of experience sourcing IT and/or software categories (including SaaS, subscriptions, or licensing models), contract knowledge with demonstrated success negotiating complex commercial agreements and driving measurable value, Experience applying structured, multi-step sourcing methodologies (e. g. , Kearney or similar frameworks), Advanced negotiation skills with the ability to create leverage and consistently deliver favorable outcomes, business acumen and the ability to influence stakeholders across IT, Legal, Finance, and other functions without direct authority, Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted advisor relationships, project management and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and reprioritize effectively in a dynamic environment, Strategic mindset with a focus on cost, risk, timing, and overall value optimization, Agile, flexible, and solutions-oriented approach with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset, Demonstrated success leading complex sourcing initiatives, driving cost savings, and improving supplier performance, Ability to work standard East Coast hours (9: 00 AM – 5: 00 PM or 8: 00 AM – 4: 00 PM EST)
