What They're Looking For.
Must Have
experience writing production-level software in at least one modern programming language, Proven ability to deliver complex projects end-to-end and take ownership of outcomes, Effective collaborator who works cross-functionally and communicates clearly with technical and non-technical partners, Demonstrates an agile mindset, adapting quickly and seeing work through from idea to impact, Comfortable using AI-powered tools (e. g. ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Copilot) to improve engineering productivity, code quality, and learning speed, Experience with ML-assisted development workflows and experimentation, Applies AI thoughtfully and responsibly -validating outputs, identifying bias or errors, and using human judgment in decision-making, curiosity and a growth mindset, with a desire to explore new technologies and continuously improve
Nice to Have
Experience with relational and non-relational databases, Experience with cloud platforms (eg AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (eg Docker, Kubernetes), and deployment pipelines, Experience in Trust & Safety, machine learning systems, or recommendation systems
