What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) degree, minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, software development in languages such as Python, C++, Go, or Rust, working with APIs, machine-to-machine communication frameworks, or cross-platform system integration, developing or deploying containerized applications using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or similar orchestration platforms, U. S. citizenship, ability to obtain and maintain a U. S. government issued security clearance, Active and existing security clearance required after day 1
Nice to Have
Distributed systems experience (data processing, event-driven or microservices, or low-latency architectures in constrained environments), integrating AI/ML or analytics into operational or real-time software systems, autonomous systems, multi-agent coordination, or mission-aware software architectures, working in communications-constrained, distributed, or resilient system environments, modeling/simulation tools (AFSIM, RCADE), DoD mission interfaces and standards (UDL, OMS, etc.)
