Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Design and build scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices that support high-volume, low-latency healthcare operations. Develop configurable, rule-based workflows that enable efficient and repeatable client onboarding processes. Implement AI-driven automations to improve engineering velocity, system quality, and operational efficiency. Ensure system reliability through robust observability, logging, monitoring, and fault-tolerant architecture practices. Collaborate closely with Product, Data, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. Act as a technical reference point, mentoring engineers and promoting strong architectural and coding standards. Document system architecture and support technical escalations related to client launches and platform issues. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience in backend or distributed systems engineering roles. Strong proficiency in Golang or similar modern backend programming languages. Solid experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB. Experience building or working with complex workflow systems, rule engines, or highly configurable enterprise platforms. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, testing practices, and modern software engineering methodologies. Experience working in fast-paced environments; health-tech or regulated industry exposure is a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders. Benefits: Fully remote role based in Mexico.
