5+ years of experience working in a backend engineering role, comfortable owning and driving the development of new platform capabilities from the ground up, solid understanding of engineering fundamentals, cross-functional communication and collaboration skills, working across Engineering, Product, and Data Science teams

About the Position We're looking for a user-focused backend engineer to join our Lending Products team in San Francisco to help build the platforms and infrastructure that power the suite of Parafin's lending products. The Lending Products team builds the core systems, frameworks, and tooling that product engineers across Parafin rely on to build and iterate on financial products. You'll partner with engineering teams across the company, including those that own offer generation, servicing, and repayment, to build and improve the platform capabilities they need to ship new product verticals quickly and reliably. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll independently own and ship platform features end-to-end, contribute to the design of new platform capabilities, and play a key role in the team's growth.
