We are hiring on behalf of a leading global streaming and entertainment product company. Their engineering teams build highly scalable, distributed systems that deliver premium content experiences to millions of users worldwide. We are looking for Backend Engineers (7+ years of experience) who have strong experience in building and scaling large-scale products, ideally in product-based companies. ABOUT THE ROLE You will work on designing and developing high-performance backend systems that power large-scale, user-facing platforms. The role involves end-to-end ownership—from architecture and development to production operations. KEY SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS - Strong backend development experience in Java, Go, Node.js, or similar modern programming languages - Hands-on experience building and maintaining backend services and APIs - Exposure to frontend technologies (React + TypeScript is a plus) - Proven experience designing scalable architectures supporting millions of users - Strong understanding of distributed systems, high availability, and performance optimization - Good troubleshooting skills across reliability, scalability, and security challenges - Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and core infrastructure - Experience working with relational databases and data-intensive systems - Strong understanding of microservices architecture and containerized deployments - Experience collaborating with Product, Design, and Data Engineering teams in Agile environments - Exposure to monitoring, on-call rotations, incident management, and production best practices - Strong ownership mindset with ability to take systems from design to production - Excellent communication and collaboration skills IDEAL PROFILE You have experience building and scaling high-impact platforms serving millions of users and enjoy working in fast-paced, product-driven environments.
