6+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Engineering within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. hands-on expertise with Azure core services, including VNets, NSGs, load balancers, and storage solutions. Proven experience designing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Bicep or equivalent tools. Deep experience with AKS in production environments, including scaling, networking, and workload optimization. Solid knowledge of Azure APIM, App Gateway, and Event Hubs (Kafka integration preferred). scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and/or Python. understanding of cloud security, including identity management, vulnerability scanning, and secure CI/CD practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering and product teams. Comfortable working independently in agile, fast-paced, remote environments.

Nice to Have

Azure certifications such as AZ-400 or AZ-305 are a plus. Experience with GitOps (Flux or ArgoCD), service meshes (Istio), or FinOps practices is a bonus.

Operate and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), including cluster performance tuning, autoscaling, Helm-based deployments, and networking configurations.

Manage and support Azure API Management, Azure App Gateway, and Azure Front Door to ensure secure and high-performance application delivery.

Support event-driven architectures using Azure Event Hubs (including Kafka support) for real-time data processing and microservices communication.

Own production reliability, including monitoring with Azure Monitor and Application Insights, incident response, and root cause analysis.

Enforce cloud security best practices using Azure Entra ID, RBAC, Key Vault, Azure Policy, and container security controls.

Collaborate with development teams to improve DevOps maturity, Git workflows, and cloud-native engineering practices.
