What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of software engineering experience, computer science fundamentals, focus on clean, maintainable, well-architected code, comfortable reasoning about distributed systems, dependency graphs, and the downstream impact of platform-level decisions across many teams, can move across the stack when needed
Nice to Have
AI fluency at Klaviyo includes responsible use of AI (including privacy, security, bias awareness, and human-in-the-loop)
What You'll Do.
drive the evolution of our developer platform across the organization
and secure backend and third-party dependencies across the codebase
build frameworks for evaluating risk and ensuring our dependency graph stays healthy
lead the planning and execution of major software releases and updates — from design through production rollout — including hands-on individual contribution throughout
drive improvements across key cycle time metrics including PR CI speed

spearhead efforts to leverage AI within the platform lifecycle and use AI tooling to accelerate your own development work
