Must Have
expertise in Java/J2EE technology, proficiency in the implementation of algorithms and the use of advanced data structures to solve problems in computing, experience with e-business/e-commerce applications and business environments, good understanding of Java/J2EE and design patterns, knowledge of data structures and designing for performance, scalability and availability, expertise in relational databases like MySQL or Postgres, knowledge in MongoDB and Web services, extensive use of Instruments and Shark to detect memory leaks and for performance optimization, good grasp of algorithms, memory management, and multithreaded programming, safeguarding sensitive company data against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, and for reporting any suspected security incidents in line with the organization's ISMS (Information Security Management System) policies and procedures
Nice to Have
Any experience with internet companies or the travel industry will be a plus, Python, NodeJS, Redis, ElasticSearch

You will be responsible for all aspects of development and help develop best practices for future development. You will work closely with Tech, Design and Quality teams to build and launch the product. * You will code, develop, design and architect features related to the existing application. * We expect you to own modules end to end and take pride in the work products you ship. * You will design, implement and maintain highly scalable, multi-tier, distributed server software applications. * You will deliver across the entire app life cycle, including design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support. * You will work directly with developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test and release products. * You will take responsibility for performance and stability for all server functions. * You will continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
