What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on backend or full-stack engineering, Deep proficiency in Java, including object-oriented design, multithreading, and performance optimization, Experience with a modern frontend framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js), Experience designing and building scalable, distributed systems and RESTful APIs, Solid understanding of secure coding practices, authentication/authorization protocols (OAuth, OIDC, SAML), and identity management concepts, Good understanding of modern cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure), Proven ability to deliver high-quality, maintainable code, with a focus on automated testing and CI/CD practices, Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex systems, communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and other engineer
Nice to Have
Experience with phishing-resistant authentications such as Passkeys or Okta FastPass
