What They're Looking For.
Must Have
6+ years of professional software engineering experience, backend development experience, preferably with Python, Experience with data pipelines or large-scale systems, Experience building production web applications, APIs, and distributed systems, Frontend familiarity, ideally with React, Solid understanding of relational databases such as MySQL and/or Snowflake, Experience with AWS or similar cloud environments, Familiarity with Docker, Terraform, CI/CD, and modern development workflows, software testing practices, including unit and integration testing, Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, agile engineering environment, communication skills, a self-directed working style, Ability to work from the Boston office two days per week, specifically Tuesdays and Thursdays
Nice to Have
Experience with ad tech, analytics platforms, or marketing technology, Familiarity with AI/ML-powered product development, LLM integrations, recommendation systems, or workflow automation, Experience mentoring other engineers or leading technical initiatives
