What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, 5+ years of software development experience, Bachelor's degree in computer science or other technical discipline, Experience with designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance back-end services and APIs, Extensive experience with modern programming languages (Java, TypeScript, JavaScript), Experience with creating web applications (Angular), Relational database development experience (PostgreSQL), In-depth knowledge of software engineering and programming concepts, Organizational and prioritization skills, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Ability to work in a collaborative/distributed team environment
Nice to Have
Expertise in containerized application development and management, Familiarity of Docker and Kubernetes, Experience with asynchronous messaging frameworks (Kafka), Advanced knowledge in object-oriented analysis and design techniques, Experience with source control systems (Git, Bitbucket), Leadership skills and a desire to provide guidance to junior team members, Familiarity with agile development principles and practices (SAFe, JIRA), Master of Science in Software Engineering and/or Computer Science, An active TS/SCI, Experience supporting Navy programs, NAVWAR, NIWC Pacific, NIWC Atlantic
