What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3+ years of experience with software engineering languages and full stack development (Go, Python, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, OAuth, SAML, REST APIs, etc.), Hands-on experience building backend services, APIs, databases, or other internal tools, Familiarity with Linux and modern software tools and techniques for development, Good analytical and problem-solving skills, Communication skills for documenting and presenting technical information clearly to stakeholders, Flexibility and adaptability to changes across projects to best meet the needs of Ivanti, Ability to work on FedRAMP initiatives with the need for immigration support
Nice to Have
Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Familiarity with common security vulnerabilities, threats, and attack vectors
What You'll Do.
Provide security automation and application development expertise
Develop tools to support Threat Operations daily activities and functions
Assist in detection and alerting through various security tools
Support the implementation of new security tools and infrastructure as code
Contribute to the continuous improvement of security standards and practices
Support audit and continuous monitoring projects
Observe day-to-day operations and devise and implement improvements to processes and technologies
Evaluate new technologies and processes that enhance security capabilities
Prioritize and address identified vulnerabilities and other security issues
