Primary Function of Position The Software Development Engineer brings a key contribution to a team responsible for the architectural design and implementation of software to support novel electrosurgical systems for surgery being developed by the Sunnyvale Engineering group. Roles and Responsibilities * Develop software applications for electrosurgical and robotic products for minimally invasive surgery. * Develop software and firmware in object-oriented C++, C, Verilog and Python for embedded systems. * Develop software to acquire, process, store, and analyze energy data in real-time. * Develop software to support manufacturing and test teams. * Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team. * Independently solve assigned problems. ## Qualifications Required Education, Skills & Experience * Minimum BS required, MS preferred (EE or CS preferred) and minimum 5 years of software development experience * Experience developing complete software solutions for embedded systems using C/C++ language on bare-metal and Linux ba
