Our solutions improve the techniques and outcomes of surgery so patients can resume their lives as quickly as possible. ** _Position Summary_****:** Globus Medical is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about medical image processing algorithms. You will be part of a pluri-disciplinary development team of 5 to 10 engineers, dedicated to the development of a complete surgical robotic system. You are a self-starter, detail-oriented, organized and deadline driven. You also possess strong communication skills, a “roll your sleeves up” mentality and be able to work in an “agile” structure with changing priorities. The job location will be at the Globus US Headquarter in Audubon, PA (near Philadelphia). **_Essential Functions_****:** * Designs and develops medical image processing algorithms and integrates them into the back-end of our next generation of our medical software * Tests and fine tunes algorithms and integration within software in our in-house surgical wet lab facility * Manages all aspects of assigned projects and ensure timely completion of tasks while remaining in full compliance with Globus’ medical software development environment and quality system * Contributes to system design verification and validation activities to ensure designs meet requirements * Periodically attends surgical cases to understand context and end-user (i.e., surgeon) requirements * Ensures compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and mainta
