What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Around 6+ years of professional software development experience. Comfortable taking the lead on a feature or initiative from start to finish. Pride in owning work, ensuring reliability, scalability, and problem-solving. Demonstrable experience designing, building, and maintaining reliable, scalable, and highly available systems. Mastery of strictly-typed/compiled languages, design patterns, and containerized cloud infrastructure (AWS). Familiarity with event-driven architecture. Committed to TDD, CI/CD best practices, and the deliberate use of AI development tools while maintaining full accountability for code quality.
Nice to Have
While core needs might involve Elixir, Go, or Ruby, architectural thinking is valued over language loyalty. Prepared to work across different stacks.
