Full Job Description
As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you are considered an experienced engineer with expertise in systems architecture, database programming, ASP.NET, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies. Skilled code developer and mentor able to apply secure coding best practices, troubleshooting techniques, and problem-solving abilities to deliver high-quality solutions. Proficient with containers, cloud platforms, REST APIs, and various programming languages. Job Functions: * Authorize code release to production ensuring it's secure and ready for use. * Perform complex software systems architecture, analysis, design, and programming activities. * Conduct defect investigations, bug verification tasks, and lead release testing and support. * Participate in technical design meetings and contribute to the overall design of solutions/products. * Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for specific components within multiple products/solutions. * Assist with design, implementation, and documentation on ongoing projects. * Research and develop solutions for problems identified by QA, Professional Services, or Customer Care. * Conduct unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits. * Continuously improve coding and design skills, staying up to date with development best practices. * Collaborate with the development team, stakeholders, and participate in Agile ceremonies. * Mentor and provide guidance to junior software engineers. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field * 7 years experience in basic programming foundation and knowledge of databases and operating systems. * Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and proficiency in at least one OOP language (e.g., C#, Java). Preferred Qualifications: * Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. * Experience in full-cycle software design and development. * Proficiency in specific frameworks and languages relevant to the role. * Exposure to payme
