Cato Networks is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join the Applicative Infra team. In this critical role, you will build infrastructure for backend services. You will develop common libraries, design microservice architectures, and establish best practices. Responsibilities include: Architect, design, and develop a complex cloud application based on a microservices architecture. Gather requirements and design common software infrastructure to support multiple teams. Develop core backend services. Build common libraries primarily in Java, and occasionally in Node.js or Go, used across many microservices. Build and maintain our API Gateway, written in Go and utilizing GraphQL. Improve developer productivity by automating repetitive tasks and optimizing build times. Research and develop proof of concepts, and adopt new technologies. Own, integrate, and implement solutions to enhance application resiliency, observability, and performance. Write detailed technical documentation for everything you develop. Requirements: 5+ years of server-side development experience with Java and Spring Boot. Experience with TypeScript and Go is a plus.
