As a Senior Software Engineer on the Alamo team, you will play a pivotal role developing our internal software platform called Alamo. Alamo is what powers the entire company - from underwriting, to ERP, to Manufacturing, to on-site installation. What You’ll Do - Design, build, and maintain core features of Alamo, our internal software platform powering operations across the company - Develop scalable web applications and APIs using Typescript, NextJS, and modern full stack frameworks - Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, operations, and business teams to deliver impactful solutions - Architect systems and implement complex workflows across underwriting, ERP, manufacturing, and installation modules - Leverage AI tools such as Claude Code to increase development velocity and prototype new capabilities - Review code, mentor teammates, and help drive best practices for code quality, documentation, and testing - Take ownership of projects from concept to production, including system design, implementation, testing, and release - Contribute to our product vision and help shape the future of Alamo Qualifications - 5+ years experience as a software engineer, with a track record of building end-to-end products - Deep proficiency with Typescript and modern full stack development frameworks (NextJS, React, Svelte) - Experience designing, building, and scaling distributed backend systems - Prov
