Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Role Overview As a Machine Learning (ML) Engineer, you will lead the design, architecture, and development of end-to-end AI/ML solutions at scale, owning the infrastructure for building and deploying these systems. Working closely with scientists and engineers, you’ll help implement AWS-based AI/ML and GenAI solutions that meet both technical and business needs. As a pioneering ML Engineer within Kuiper ProdOps, you will drive hands-on development of high quality ML solutions. You are a technical leader that tackles new initiatives and engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. Your ability to synthesize and communicate complex topics to diverse audiences will be key to solving business problems and innovating for the future. You will strive for simplicity, combining deep technical expertise with creating problem-solving and strategic thinking, making high-impact on the business and driving innovation for the future.
