Full Job Description
The Transport Libraries team within AWS Cryptography builds and maintains open-source TLS and QUIC libraries (s2n-tls, s2n-quic) that protect data in transit across all of AWS. We're looking for an experienced software developer passionate about practical cryptography, open source, and building at scale. You'll work on post-quantum cryptography, leverage GenAI to accelerate secure transitions, and help ensure every byte moving in and out of the cloud is protected. If you're excited about implementing cryptography that secures millions of connections and want to contribute to some of the most security-critical open-source libraries in the industry, we'd love to talk. Key job responsibilities Own the full software development lifecycle — defining, prioritizing, designing, building, and testing new features for AWS Cryptography. Deliver foundational cryptographic libraries integrated across all AWS front-door services. Engage internal and external customers to identify gaps in data-in-transit protection and translate those into new features and products. Build solutions at scale to protect cloud workloads against "harvest now, decrypt later" (HNDL) threats. Leverage GenAI technologies to safely and efficiently transition AWS services to post-quantum cryptography. About the team - Here at AWS, we embrace our differences.
