Understanding of common security standards and best practices (e.g., OWASP Top 10, international security standards), Experience in conducting security reviews (code and architecture), Knowledge in threat modeling and risk analysis, Understanding of vulnerability management and handling security advisories/CVEs, Experience or interest in DevSecOps and integration of security into CI/CD pipelines, Basic knowledge of cloud technologies and/or Kubernetes and their security requirements, Analytical mindset and structured approach to security problems, Communication skills and ability to collaborate with development teams, Very good German and good English skills

Knowledge in authentication, authorization, and API security, First experiences with penetration testing or a basic understanding of attack methods, For Junior profiles: high willingness to learn and interest in further developing in application security, For experienced profiles: ability to strategically develop security and take responsibility
What You'll Do.
Manage operational and conceptual tasks in application security
Establish secure software development practices
Conduct security reviews on code and architecture
and evaluate security risks
Develop and implement application-specific security concepts
Support architectural decisions with security requirements
Manage vulnerabilities: analyze
Collaborate with development teams to fix security gaps
Integrate security into CI/CD processes (DevSecOps)
Support secure configuration of cloud and Kubernetes environments
Contribute to securing containerized applications
Participate in implementing authentication and authorization concepts
Consider supply chain security for external dependencies
Accompany and evaluate penetration tests
Analyze attack scenarios and exploitation methods
Define and develop security guidelines and best practices
Advise development teams on security topics
Support analysis and treatment of security incidents
Contribute to continuous improvement of security measures
