Full Job Description

Application deadline: Jun 1, 2026 AWS Edge Connectivity service enables dedicated AWS Cloud connectivity options for US Intelligence and Department of Defense customers. These connectivity options allow our customer to deploy and run their isolated, sensitive workloads in an environment exclusive for their use-case. We help our customers to onboard, manage, and scale their connectivity options for maintaining persistent connection to AWS Isolated cloud. In this role, you will build a new space-to-ground network service which customers will use to connect to Amazon's Dedicated Cloud partitions. You'll architect and implement software security protocols across Wide Area Networks (WANs), ensuring seamless and secure access to dedicated cloud environments. By developing a secure space-to-ground communications system, you'll protect critical customer connections flowing through Amazon's global network backbone. You'll leverage the AWS ecosystem and integrate with third-party solutions to create a control and data plane that meet our customers' stringent security requirements. Working alongside technology experts across Amazon, you'll define the next generation of dedicated cloud connectivity, setting new standards for enterprise-grade security. Your expertise in network encryption and software development will directly impact how how AWS customers access their mission-critical cloud infrastructure. If Arlington, VA (Arlington HQ): This role will sit in our new headquarters in Northern Virginia, where Amazon will invest $2.5 billion dollars, occupy 4 million square feet of energy efficient office space, and create at least 25,000 new full-time jobs.
