What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years in SRE, Data Engineering, or DevOps roles, programming/scripting skills (Python, SQL, Bash), Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), experience with data modelling and pipeline development, Experience implementing monitoring and observability systems, Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, etc.), Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
Nice to Have
Experience building a data platform from scratch, Familiarity with DataOps and governance frameworks, Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, Familiarity with AI tooling and experience using it to enhance output

Automate operational processes using scripting
and Infrastructure as Code
Implement DataOps practices
including CI/CD for data pipelines and workflows
Reduce manual reporting and operational overhead through automation
Build reusable frameworks for internal data tooling
Implement monitoring and alerting for data pipelines
and reporting systems
Define SLIs/SLOs for data availability
Lead incident response and root cause analysis for data-related issues
Establish observability standards across data and platform systems
Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions
Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions
Enable self-service analytics and improve data accessibility
Deliver actionable insights to support decision-making
