What You'll Do.

Develop core functionality for autonomous driving in all geographies based on the fusion of SOTA perception DNN and map signals

Generate real-time 3D world model utilized by planning

incorporating a variety of inputs from sensors and external sources

Enable HD mapless driving in complex urban scenarios by creating enriched BEV models of the world

Enable L3 level autonomy in highway scenarios by creating accurate

reliable and safe models of the world from camera

radar perception and map signals

Build fused static obstacles and occupancy grids and build occlusion masks to enrich AV scenarios

Provide the team guidance on approaches to be taken to solve the hardest of AV problems

Make sure our algorithms work well on large amounts of real and synthetic data

in a diverse range of environments and conditions

Produce code and designs following automotive quality and safety standards

We are looking for a strong engineer in the DRIVE Road structure / Online mapping / Context Fusion team. In this role, you will help craft and guide the future of our autonomous driving solution for providing a complete 3D world model including fusing signals between map and perception. You will be working closely with our perception and planning teams in providing a world model that is complete and able to drive in the most challenging roads and intersections in the U.S and China. It is a very exciting role that provides a breadth of interesting areas and is central to our vision in AV.
