Eligibility Requirements

Onsite Project Manager in Aberdeen/Lubbock, TX, Will consider qualified candidates who are willing to travel for extended periods, willing to be on deployment for from 6 to18 months, Travel as needed

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree or equivalent work experience of at least five years, 5 years Project Management - security industry (preferred) or new construction experience, Must be willing to be on deployment for from 6 to18 months, currently in Aberdeen/Lubbock, TX market, Travel as needed

Nice to Have

Certifications preferred or ability to acquire certification within 6 months of employment in the position, CSPM (Certified Security Project Manager), PMI PMP (Project Management Institute, Project Management Professional)

What You'll Do.

Provide subject matter expertise in areas including project management

Maintain control of schedule

and customer expectations/satisfaction at all times

Present to management and/or customers on project updates

May manage vendor relationships throughout the security installation

Ensure projects are closed on time and within scope

Responsible for communication and status reporting to project staff

and Johnson Controls management in the realm of security projects

Responsible for work plan

leading project resources

and providing technical advice and problem resolution to all aspects of security project

Responsible for tracking project expenditures and installation progress through reviews of status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules of plans as the need arises

Maintains full financial accountability to the security requires ability to forecast financial trends across the project

ability to understand internal Johnson Controls and external client cost structures

and integrate or translate to/from Johnson Controls accounting methodology using AIA standards

Maintain project quality in security conducting inspections of worksite

ensuring workmanship meets Johnson Controls installation required quality standards and expectations for security systems

and professional support to all customers and other personnel in security projects and ensure timely follow-up on all customer concerns and issues
