Full Job Description
Description Amazon MGM Studios is hiring a Senior Scripted Executive with experience in both development and production. This executive will work within the Canadian Originals team and have the ability to identify material and talent and guide top-level writers and directors in the creation of outlines, scripts, cuts, and other material. Using your comprehensive knowledge of premium television talent, you will build on your previous industry relationships and develop new ones. As part of the Prime Video team, you’ll get to work on projects that are fast-paced, challenging, and varied. Also, you’ll get to experiment with new possibilities, take risks, and collaborate with remarkable people. We’ll look for you to bring your diverse perspectives, ideas, and skill-sets to make Prime Video even better for our customers. Key job responsibilities • Convey Amazon MGM Studios Canadian Originals Scripted strategy among Canadian industry. • Exercise creative and business judgement, especially in spotting the potential in ideas. • Build and manage relationships with writers, directors, producers, production companies and artist representatives. • Manage all creative aspects of development, pre-production, production, and post to final delivery. • Liaise with other departments including Marketing, Publicity, Research, Digital, Social and Business and Legal Affairs.
