What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum of 7 years of related experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 5 years experience, At least 5-7 years of total experience as a Project Manager, Extensive experience of working for large IT services/IT outsourcing companies with SAP Implementation and client facing experience, Consultancy experience of working in core SAP module (FI, SD, MM, SC, etc) for at least 3-4 years, Project Management experience of at least 2-3 years
Nice to Have
Knowledge or implementation experience in AI is a plus
What You'll Do.
Overseeing system changes
Working with Functional teams
legacy/existing system owners and their technical architects to ensure timelines for delivery of solutions are understood and any issues /risk documented and actioned/escalated
Providing guidance to the team
Ensuring the team is working in accordance with the agreed project plan
Identifying potential risks and issues that could impact project success including technical risks
timeline delays or resource constraints
Developing mitigation strategies to reduce risks and issues identified
Ensuring that any deviations to the project plan are documented and approved by the project steering committee
Managing Change Requests by assessing their impact on project timelines
Tracking and leading day to day execution of the projects
Ensuring that progress aligns with the project plan
Conducting regular team meetings to discuss progress and address challenges
Ensuring that the project meets the required quality standards
Leading and motivating project teams
Acting as liaison between the test team and existing business system owners
Managing relationship with third party vendors and partners
Maintaining thorough project documentation including project plans
technical and functional design documents
status reports and meeting notes
Ensuring a smooth transition of project to production support teams
Ensuring that budget is tracked and managed
Onboarding external vendors within agreed time
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Working with the Solution Architect, delivery team and VMO in onboarding the external vendors; Working with Functional teams, legacy/existing system owners and their technical architects; Ensuring collaboration and productivity within project teams; Acting as liaison between the test team and existing business system owners
