What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelors degree (in Engineering, Finance, or Business preferred) from an accredited college or university, 5+ years of experience in the aerospace, defense or power industries
Nice to Have
Prior experience working in or closely with sales, marketing, commercial finance/risk, commercial proposals, and/or contracts, Working knowledge of financial analyses such as risk, tax, and legal principles, Experience in developing, negotiating, and managing long term customer service agreements, Applied experience using lean, six sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies to drive efficiencies in transactional processes, Comfortability working in a high paced, high intensity environment with heavy exposure to senior leaders, Proven ability to establish relationships with key stakeholders and influence to drive outcomes across a global, matrixed organization, Demonstrated written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate key concepts in a succinct, clear manner to a variety of audiences including but not limited to the customer and/or senior leaders, project management skills with the ability to handle multiple large, complex projects simultaneously, Role model of GE Aerospace Behaviors – Customer Focus, Continuous Improvement, and Respect for People
